Introduction

Olba is printed once a year in May.

The Journal ‘Olba’, being published since 1998 by the ‘Research Center of Cilician Archaeology’ of the Mersin University (Turkey),

 

includes original studies done on prehistory, protohistory, classical archaeology, classical philology (language and culture),

 

ancient history, numismatics and Byzantine History of Art.

The studies select their material mostly from Asia Minor but articles (papers) dealing with the Mediterranean area and Near East

 

also form the content of Olba.
